Default Do Lightweight wheels and/or rotors make a difference?

For those that have once went from a heavy/ier 1-piece wheel to 3-piece lightweight forged wheels did you notice a substantial difference in throttle response and/or performance.

Also, add note if you have lightweight 2-piece rotors as well and if there was a difference as well. I'm trying to substantiate buying different wheels for other reasons other than just looks. Thanks!

are you a cruiser or racer? if you're a cruiser, you don't need all that light weight stuff.

when racing, light weight wheels comes into play due to rotating mass. naturally, with lightweight stuff, your car can accelerate quickly.

for floating rotors, not sure what the +/- benefits are. they sure look pretty though.

Huge difference. I got rid of my cast irons and went with 3pc &swiss. The difference is HUGE. Also saved alot on my gas as well.

They benefit handling as well since there is less unspring weight to deal with(2 piece rotors and lightweight forged rims).
