No, I did NOT remove the stock resonators. I only removed the secondary catalytic converters. I removed those when I still had the stock exhaust, and it made a very, very small change in sound. Personally, I don't think removing the secondary cats have anything to do with the drone that the HKS axle-back has. I believe the HKS exhaust will drone on a totally stock IS350.

I wonder why no one has tried these yet, yes I know there a little expensive but i've seen people spend more on less.
I think this would be an awesome solution to the drone!

Where Can I pick up a pair, besides the website mentioned? I think a member mentioned a forum vendor selling this and is available for pick up in CA .. The website 's shipping kills the deal..

I think I saw a video where the guy compared with and without the silencer. Outside, it didn't make much of a difference, but inside the car it was VERY noticeable difference. So maybe that's what it's made for....keep you sounding aggressive but easy on your ears...

I just installed the silencers today and I'm in love with the quietness inside again. The sound outside is not that loud anymore but still sexy enough. The exhaust is just perfect for me now.
Really got pain in the ash to drill thru those thing tho. Totally took me about 20 mins for everything. Big thanks for mod!!!
