SRT IS300 Intake w/ RACE Ecu NOW AVAILABLE!
No, that gain is good, it is just not worth trading my old version for that one if it costs more, if it is free then that is another story, that is a good gain, more than the first ECU yielded. As for the stage two, there was talk of one coming out for the SRT intake, it was supposed to be another piggy back and make close to 30 hp gain, I dont know what happened to that one.

Just to add more confusion
I just talked to Mo a minute ago and he said that the race ECU comes with the new intakes. It will also be available for purchase as an upgrade to the older ECU BUT not now since they are backed up on order for the intakes. Makes sense that they have to fill in their order for the intake first (together with the race ECU) then supply the race ECU for an upgrade once they have caught up with their sales of the new intake. Just for clarification, the intake is the same (at least that's what Mo said) or similar it is just the ECU has a new program in it that yields 3-5 HP more. Also, they have not decided yet how much they will sell the ECU as an upgrade. I hope this answers some of the questions here.

I remember acouple months back over at is300.net. I believe it was fairzua that brought up the subject of the new piggybacks. I maybe wrong, most likely I am. But I remember fairzua saying that you can use both the race ECU and stage 2 ECU piggybacks. I am not sure on this, can someone clear me up on this?
and the stage 2? Also, I hope SRT does not charge much for the upgrade, most of the people that have the old version of the ECU have paid more than what they are charging now for the intake with race ECU. I know that times are different, but if we trade out our old ECU what will they have to do, just remap it? Should not cost much, anyways, is there an expected date for the stage 2? Should us current "regular" ECU owners just wait for the stage 2?
