That looks like an Aristo 2JZGTE swap.... look at it closely. It has a veilside intake manifold or one thats similar to it. Yesssirrrr.
update ...upon further inspection ... that photo was taken at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2006. So it is an authentic Toyota Aristo with a single turbo setup.
I thought twin charging wasnt very efficient? I thought the belief was to go either supercharger (better) or turbo (best).
It's not. That's more for show than anything else... Just like the Meguiar's ITR a few years ago... It took a lot of boost to create a reasonable amount of power that could have been easily achieved with just a turbo.

chargers are most likely to spool quicker than turbo and the debate of which is better, turbo or SC will never end. they both do the same thing but in diffrent ways. if you search and read on it you will find all the pros and cons on both.

there are many cars that are twin charged, that way you get the best of both worlds. no turbo lag with the lower rpm boost of a SC and great top end when the large turbo finally spools.
i do see it as an overkill, but everyone has the right to do what ever they think of .
