People who like it more "pronounced" will get the HKS Hi-Power, and people that want it more subtle will get the Tanabe Touring.
But I think the reason why these two are the most popular is because of the relatively inexpensive price, its relative availability, and the convenience of not having to get rid of the catalytic converter...

I don't think there are any significant performance difference between the Hi Power and the Dual Sport HKS's. One I think is the Lexus sport version of the exhaust (which is why it cost so much). But the Hi Power is loud compared to the OEM. I would much rather have the Lexus sport exhaust, but it cost so darn much.
An alternative would be a Tanabe exhaust system which runs similar to Lexus dual sport but at half the cost.

LOL, that's what I've been trying to say this entire time about these aftermarket systems being "axle-backs" and not true cat back.
You guys that really want a true cat-back, take your car to a muffler shop so they can add on to the HKS, Tanabe systems.
But since I got smoked by a Scion tC, an exhaust system upgrade isn't the answer still. Not worth spending $600 to do the work for only a few HP more. Doesn't do anything but free up the exhaust a little bit more.

And for the record I'm debating still on the borla and tannabe. I wish there was more dyno runs with the Borla.

Which Exhaust: Greddy SP2
Dyno:No
Gain HP? I don't know, may be a little....hard to tell.
Comments on your exhaust: Really like the exhaust, deep tone. Huge tip filled up the bumber nicely. I don't like the SP2 at firt, but after I installed it, I'm in loved with it...
Any Pictures/Videos you may have: No pics yet, may be soon> Have video, but never post...
Why I picked this exhaust: Because most of members of CL had tanabe.

Wow...someone pissed in your Cheerios. Why not sell your 250 if you dislike it so much and get the 350? Hell, you should have known with 204hp it was going to be no street racer. Personally Im sick of people bashing the 250. Its like "oh sorry...my **** isnt as big as yours almighty 350 owner. Shall I service your royalty?"

Just installed my Tanabe last month. It's been the perfect Exhaust. Normal driving you can't even hear it in the cabin. Has a deep rich sound during agressive driving. I also found that when I hit redline I am about 5 miles faster in each gear compared to were i was before I put on the exhaust. (how that works I have no idea.)

I have the LMS I love the sound it produces, and I do feel an increase in power from acceleration and at highway speed. The 70 to 90 mph bump seems effortless. But I haven't had a chance to dyno, has anyone else with the LMS dynod it. I have an interesting set up how about the Tanabe exhaust with the LMS x pipe.....
thanks
