Two questions no one has addressed that I'd love for someone to chime in on:

1. Has anyone tried the Weapon R Cold Air Box?

2. Does the cold air box make the intake a little quieter?

I bought mine 8/8/08 so I should have some feedback for you regarding the missing hose problem. Stay tuned......

Hey what's up guys... I installed the weapon r secret intake on my gs300... I know about that's hose you are talking about...My mechanic said too put a t connector in and it will be fine... So far there is no engine lights on, it sounds great and I can feel the difference.

You have 2 options. Either don't connect it, and just zip tie that hose away somewhere. Or you can buy a T fitting and plumb both of them in to the smaller of the 2 tubes on the side of the intake(the tube where you already have the hose plugged into). The hose on the bottom is the EVAP suction hose and isn't really a big deal. Mine is just left open like that. Only difference it will make is that your garage might smell like gasoline overnight...but only very very slightly. Most of the time I don't even notice it.

I just completed my install of the Secret Weapon R Intake on a 1999 GS300. I installed the full package including the air ram kit with the suggestion of running the hose down to the front bumper. I have the cold air intake box on order, it should be here Wednesday or Thursday.

Once I have the box here and ready to install I'll create a write up with pictures for everyone to review.
