Quote: I took vids before and after. It does sound a bit throatier.

Btw, I have a K&N intake and Tanabe Medallion Tourings.

Before SS headers

After SS headers
it does sound a little different with the headers. nice.

These are the only known ( that I found) posting of any before and after dynos of the S&S headers.
Pearlpower's SC430 dyno - I blieve he has an intake and an exhaust

JP430's dyno from his LMS/Procharger C-2 S/C

RMMGS4 and a few guys did a few S&S intalls w/ dyno's awhile back but have not seen that info. posted yet.

i have not had the chance to dyno my car yet, but i dropped 3/10 of a second on the 8th mile track. that was a very impressive drop in time.

I just got mine on Monday. It cost $585.00, plus I had to get another O2 sencer with the longer cable for the right side (or Left). Good Mod

I was worried about the O2 sensor too but my installer told me that the length would not be a problem. I was charged $500 to do the install.

Has anyone installed these headers and kept the stock exhaust system? Just wondering what the HP gain might be and what it would sound like.

I too am interested in installing these headers before having an aftermarket exhaust put on. Does anyone know if the headers will do anything without having an aftermarket exhaust on?

They are in fact designed to work with the stock exhaust and work very well. Power, torque and response are all improved especially on the 430s. Sound level is barely changed and unnoticeable in almost all conditions.

Well the first step is done...I have my dyno numbers for my basline. Here's the thread I posted about it: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...8&goto=newpost
. Anyway my numbers are 248 rwhp and 253 torque. Next week the plan is for me to install the headers and do another dyno run. I'll post the results once that is completed. Stay tuned.
