I saw the cover of one of the tuner magazines ..a 2jz gte swapped is300 with a toyomoto stage 5 turbo kit wide bosy as well..as a iwas erading threw the article I found that he used a sc300 head..are there any advantages to doing this

If he did a full GTE swap, than I don't see a point in using a SC300 head... SO~ I'm gonna guess that he just used the GTE shortblock...
SC300 head = loose Drive By Wire and VVTi to get that real throttle pedal feel
