lexus exhaust..problem?

Default lexus exhaust..problem?

i drove the **** out of my car a couple of days ago and now my exhaust sounds different..more quieter and not as loud as it use to be..

Did i screw it up? If so, how do i fix it? Or was it just wear?

I dont think you can drive the **** out of an exhaust, if anything your hearing got used to the sound in high rpm and now since youre cruising it sounds low to you. IMO.

Totally agree with you. First time I had my Tanabe I was saying "gee this is too loud and annoying" but after a week or two I got used to it and now it sounds just fine. There was also a thread about this that mentioned our exhaust sound esp Tanabes tone down after break in period.

My Tanabe just gets better the more mileage on her....not more quiet, actually louder, but mellow. I thought it was too quiet at first, now it sounds just perfect.
