thanks for all the comments guys. Everytime I walk to my car, I think to myself, it looks damn nice!

that sucks...i am going to get an K&N intake installed this week so I am going to have the shop look at it again and see if they can tweak it. I am hoping that I don't need to redo it.

Thanks for the suggestion Rock-a-lex - I will try that. I was thinking of slipping on some rubber grommets onto the zip tie so that it can provide some type of cushion.

I am going to try to get a video of the exhaust sound too before and after the intake. I dunno if it's gonna make a difference in sound though.

ok now when you guys say redone, do you mean some cutting and retrofitting?

I got it on my 06 GS 300 and have the same problem. Can't really notice it that much. But it is off by a little on the right side.

The intake will deinftely make a big difference in the sound from the exhaust. I installed the K&N Intake two weeks ago. My car sounds mean. You'll love it.

i tried today to get a sound clip but it didn't come out very well. It ended up to be 88Mbs because I made the screen size 640X480. I don't have a video camera so I am shooting off a Powershot IS800. I will reshoot it in a smaller resolution in a more quiet area.
