Default turbo vs supercharger? Which is better?

If you had to choose between getting a Turbo kit or a Supercharger kit for your IS350 than which would it be? I was always under the impression that a SC kit was more expensive because it had more moving parts. Is that correct in the first place? However,a turbo kit usually has an intercooler with it so that is an extra part to purchase. Anyway, I was looking for some insight into how they work and how much they typically cost.

Thanks

My only experience has been with a supercharger, and I loved it....very responsive and absolutely no lag....just power on demand. Twin turbos are used by some, working in stages to eliminate lag, but that can get pretty expensive going aftermarket. Can't provide input on current costs.
