Question I need help with Body Kits/Intake/Exhaust!!!!!

I bought an IS 300 a few months ago and I want to buy a body kit for my car. I've been thinking about the RMM Body Kit or the Stillen Aerokit. But after reading some of these posts, I see that people have Wald Body Kits, Visage, L-tuned, etc. Where can I see and buy these kits? I have been having a hard time trying to find anything on the net for IS 300's.

I've also been thinking about an RMM or Stillen Exhaust and Intake. I have a friend with a Nissan and hes got Stillen all-around and loves it. But again, I see a whole lot of other brands listed in peoples car descriptions in the posts. Can someone help me choose a good one and tell me where I can buy it?

I live in Oregon and we don't have any shops that sell anything for Lexuses at all!!!! Its pretty sad!!! I have been relying on the net to buy everything for my car.

THANKS!!

Most of the bodykits you mentioned (i.e. Wald, C-West) are all made for the Japan spec Altezza and require some modificaiton to lengthen them for the US spec bumpers.

The kits made in the U.S. don't need modificaitons such as the L-Tuned, L-Sportline, RMM, Stillen and some others.

Try to go to IS300fanforums, that site has photos of almost all the body kits made for the IS 300/Altezza/IS 200.

As for intakes, there are essentially two kinds. Open element intakes and a closed system by Area 51. The effective intakes use some sort of MAF modification device such as the piggy-back ECU of the SRT unit (open element) or the black box of the Area 51. You can also use the Apex-i S-AFC to the same effect. It is the MAF modifier that makes the power and not the intake by itself. This is the reason why some intakes cost much more than others.

As for exhaust, most of the units made for the IS are pretty good. Many owners have posted good results w/the HKS, Greddy, 5Zigen and Tanabe exhausts. There are also some custom systems made by Toyomoto based in FL.

HEY if your looking for a body kit, and intake im selling one for the IS. The Body kit is a TRD style kit. Mondification will be needed to fit the front and rear. It comes with side skirts, front bumper, rear apron, and rear mid wing. I also have a TOMS front grill and RMM Intake system.
