Default Installing a Borla Exhaust

Hey guys i was just wondering how difficult it is to hang a Borla exhaust? there is 2 Screws (2)= 4 Screws total and these hangers will i be able to successfully mount them in place where the oem hangers hung? and will they be straight, and tight enough, or will they jump everytime i hit a bump? The exhaust guy that did my Envoy's exhaust is going to get rid of my resonators on Tues along with put in a X pipe, but i just want to hear this damn thing. Its like a new puppy all you want to do it play with it. Sorry about the huge run on sentence, (just typed up a clinical paper so i am a little sick of puncuation.)

just plug and play. Installed mine and it sits just fine. Plan on buying new bolts (4). The oem ones were rusted, so when i tried to remove them they just broke off. Good luck

It's a very easy install. Just get new OEM rubber mounts and you'll be fine.

Taking off your old exhaust might be the hard part. If there's a lot of rust on your bolts it will be difficult. I put WD-40 three times and the bolts wouldn't budge.

It will probally take you more time to jack the car up than put the exhaust on

From the looks of it, it does not look that bad. I’m sure the new Borla exhaust came with new set of gaskets since old ones might be rusted out as well. Hope the diagram helps, Good Luck!

It's easy to do as long as your stock stuff isn't all rusted up. mine was and I ended up snapping the bolts and had to use new hardware. I had to get new gaskets from Lexus too. My Borla didn't come with new ones.

Here is what it will sound like with an X-pipe video

My Borla's came with a different hanger bracket so the stock one had to be replaced with the Borla. Other than that, it is pretty easy as long as the flange bolts aren't rusted. If you have the Borla with the unique hanger bracket remember to keep your stock brackets. Most other after market exhausts use the factory hanger. Just FYI. Enjoy your Borla's
