They make great quality cat backs, but too loud for my tastes. Still waiting on my Tanabe to ship.

wow... i thought for 1400 it would be too much... and i was just gonna get the tanabe, heard it and everything... sounded great. and i haven't heard/seen the greddy on yet. but now i see and hear the hks one and its a factory addition so i think i found my exhaust. =) thanks for taking the time... you have helped me make my decision.

hmm... does anyone know if theres an HKS stamp on it or anything? any distinguishing marks to see that it is by HKS?

Congrats canadalexus!!! The exhaust looks good and sounds even better

What I notice though, is that in terms of looks it doesn't appear to be much different than the Tanabe, with the exception that the tips stick out a bit further than the Tanabe ones, which in this case would be good for us OEM body kit owners

The sound is where the noticeable difference between the two is found and man does that HKS exhaust sounds sweet or what ...

But, with the HKS exhaust being almost 3 times the price of the Tanabe, I think I will stay with my Tanabe exhaust for now.... (unless the mod bug bites me again)

very curious if there is TRD or HKS etched on the tip like the TRD exhuast on other models.

its tough to say, the car does feel more responsive, but I want to get it on the dyno. Sad thing is I didn't get a chance to baseline the car prior because I didn't setup a dyno time.

Thanks! The Lexus/HKS exhaust is higher price then others, but you have Lexus dealer warranty on it, which is great. That and the construct and welds of the exhaust were of really high quality (however, I haven't see the tanabe or LMS), I was impressed. I use to have a Greddy EVO on my IS300 and quality on Lexus/HKS is better.

There are no marks or logo of any kind on the exhaust. I was wondering the same, but there was nothing.

really? I thought ppl would think the inside video was quite? Maybe that just me. The car does have an aggressive note when you "some-what" get into it off a light, but I'm one to like that sort of thing. Also, you can't here the exhaust, at all, on the highway, which is a plus.
