Default How much did you pay for Tanabe Exhaust?

I am seriously considering buying a Tanabe exhaust but was wondering how much people paid for them and from where they purchased it from.

I have seen them range in price from $522 to $700, both brand new, so i was just wondering whats the best deal out there, thanks.

The tanabe exhaust makes around 5-7 rwhp. Yes the LMS might make more but it sounds really bad. Most of us want a nice looking exhaust that has a deep low sound to it. The LMS exhaust looks like a riced out exhaust and from what I heard it sounds way too loud for a lexus.

If I buyan exhaust i want it to produc a little mre power than that, but it's a Lexus so I dont want it to sound like garbage. Are there any other exhaust systems comming out soon that give the best of both worlds.

yah, the problem isn't finding a good price its actually finding a place that has any in stock.

Tanabe is sending out another shipment to their dealers next month I think, but most of those have been pre-ordered. If you want one you might have to call around and see how long the waiting lists are for various places.

good luck in your searches!

I just got my exhaust from option import but on the way here it got lost. When i was talking to the guy from O.I. about getting another one if it was indeed lost he said he had another shipment comming in next week. Might wanna call over there an see .

Got mine for $540 from the Carson Lexus group buy a while back. I installed it myself (very easy to do), so labor was free.

Ok here's the deal, from a LMS exhaust Owner.

If you want a small subitle Exhaust note, stick with the Tanabe. Plain and simple. You have no other choices, right now.

If you would like a deep-deep v-8 sounding exhaust note, EITHER:
A. Buy the LMS exhaust and see if you like the note (either to loud or to low), then tweek it a little bit, e.g., add another resonator or remove one.

B. Have your own custome exhaust created.

PLAIN and SIMPLE folks!
