Im a huge fan of the GS, so I'm gonna buy one pretty soon, i just need to know which one? The GS300 or 400? There's nothing like the feeling of forced induction. I have a 99 LX470 with a supercharger, and tell u the truth, at first it said V8 and felt like it, but after the supercharger, I think Lexus was lying to me. So which GS is best as a performance luxury?
Totally depends on what your goals are. Quick breakdown:
A: You have lots of money. Gs400 custom Fi (I.e not the puny little supercharger) Twin turbo, built, 600rwhp pump gas, viper beating Gs.
B: You have some money, want reliable, not too much maint., relativly quick install. Gs400 with stock motor and supercharger.
C: You want more or less basic for now, little bit more money than the basic gs400/430 supercharger but much more available as far as upgrading in the future, do a bolt on turbo kit on a Gs300.
D: If you want to build a bad *** turbo Gs and spend less than a TT Gs400/430 get a Gs300 and swap a gte motor, single turbo, fuel and associated mods.

If I had a camera, id take pics. I had a camera, but it got stolen last year back at school. Yes school, I'm still in HS, the LX is my dad's (soon to be mine), but the supercharger is half mine. Costs a a left teste and your firstborn child, lol. Its a used TOM'S unit. Dont get discouraged just because of my age. I already have my money saved up for my own car (GS, i got about $15,000 saved, since i was 4), and parents pay the remainder. I've found GS's for under $25k, so it shouldnt be too much of a problem... i hope.
