The ECU on the 1st and 2nd gen arent in the same place are they? Isnt the 1st gen ECU underneath the airbag?

I saw "ECU arrangement diagram" in the S-AFCII documentation,
and there writed that in ARISTO 147 & 143 (i think that like 1st gen of gs)
ECU located in "Foot position of the passenger seat" (see http://www.apexi.com)
