Default transmission fluid ???

It seems that sometimes when the car is cold, it takes a little longer for the gear to engage. Is this a sign that my ATF fluid needs to be changed. The car just turned 80K, and the last service was the 60K done at a Lexus dealership. Can I assume that they changed the fluid when they did that service, or would the previous owner have had to ask for that?
Thanks.-Andy

Its amazing when I switched over to Amsoil synthetic, everything feels smoother than before. If you can get your hands on Amsoil, flush the tranny with it and fill her up. Try it and let us know.

Default You Are Right, Dashocker

I also use the AMSOIL Universal Transmission Fluid in my 99 GS4. I have about 50 thousand miles on this fluid after ine flush at 20,000 miles to get rid of any residual dirt from the old fluid.

This fluid is used in my power steering reservoir as well, and the steering is awesome.

You can't go wrong with AMSOIL. The fluid is still clean, but I will flush everything again just before June, when I drive from San Diego, thru Texas, on to Atlanta and return.

It should be a great trip.
