For anyone looking for a really nice sounding exhaust that is on the quiet side under "normal" driving, look no further...
Yea i 'd have to agree with you on that. The Borla is right up there to with a quiet yet nice little sound.. Glad to see that you are happy with the Carson tuned... That was aslo a consideration before the Borla....

). I got the Carson exhaust for the less restrictive resonators (according to Steve Ganz) and also just liked the look and sound. I wanted the exhaust also in preparation for the headers which combined with the K&N FIPK will give me a real good flowing system. Planning on tuning with Apex SAFC in the future possibly to optimize the A/F ratio etc.

congrats to another satisfied carson tuned exhaust owner
imo as far as the carson tuned on the gs3..
pros:
- sound is much more deep/aggressive
- one of the more quiet systems...this is what i was looking for...there is no sense imo to put a loud bee can exhaust when lexus is designed for quietness
- quality is definite top notch
- fits very well with oem bumper
cons:
- performance gain is very minimal...i think i can feel the difference...but since i can actually hear my exhaust now...i think my mind is playin tricks on me lol
- you may need to consider extending the tips if your going with a aftermarket bumper...
do i regret my purchase? hell no!
in fact this was my first mod to my gs
