L-Tuned Intake Update....

Just spoke to my Lexus source and it seems as of Friday after much tweaking and rework, the L-tuned intake is not performing as hoped. Word is that L-Tuned personnel have abandoned the effort entirely and it will never make it to production.
The supercharger is moving forward as expected. Currently too much power is causing head gasket and other problems on the stock IS3 setup (they have been back several times to local dealerships for replacement parts!). Word is the design will be throttled back to increase reliability and is still scheduled for delivery Q2 2002. And yes, it will pass smog and no it will not void the warranty (had to check that with him once more just to be sure). Cost and specs to follow when the design is stabilized and reliable.
