I disagree. I wouldn't horrible with JUST the gearset. I hear with a LSD and TC the tires smoke up like crazy anyways...but people do those mods. So why not just the gear? As I've said before, I had a Mark VIII. It had 4.10's in it. Sure it would bake the tires off the line. But on a roll, my Mark was deadly. Not even Vettes could hang with me on a roll. I creamed them time and time again. I suspect the same would be true with the GS. But I'd forgo the 3.76, and just get a gearset from a GS300, which is 3.9X You'd hardly be able to tell the difference between them. Would be ALOT of fun. Just remember...you'll smoke em from a standstill, so you'll have to take it easy until you get moving, but once you do...look out!!

RRocket, low gearing with the LSD will cause the VSC to kick in MUCH MORE OFTEN. Going around any sharp corner and hitting the gas will bring on VSC and you won't be going anywhere fast. That's what's so awesome about the LSD is it makes VSC SHUT UP unless things are really wild and hairy. NO WAY I'd want 3.76 gears without LSD - I didn't like the STOCK gearing without LSD.

yeah i agree with bit. the problem is when you turn, the inner wheel will spin bad and that killed stuff totally, when with lsd, the outside wheel will start working and push you through the corner

if talk about burning rubber, of course you burn it any day if you smash the gas
