unorthodox racing pulleys
So I was considering these pulleys, but I heard a lot of bad things about replacing the crank pulley because it is the harmonic damper. So I was thinking about replacing the alternator, power steering, and the water pump pulleys with their lightened aluminum ones. This would save a total of 1 lb 14.2 oz. Would this be worth the money? What kind of gains would i experience? Probably around 4 or less hp?
And then does anybody have any info on the Lightened Adjustable Race Cam Sprocket from this company, and what would this do for me?
Yes I know it's kinda sad i am looking at such small gains but i am hp hungry and i just don't see the TC or and kind of FI happening soon.
Thanks for the help.

MrMatt: The money to HP ratio for these mods is not good. You will spend approx. $400+ for the pulleys that will get you about 1-4hp if that. The HP claims on pulleys is just ridiculous. I've seen dyno's on Is300's that showed little to no gain on pulleys. Basically they are for show and yes, DO NOT use the crank pulley.
The adjustable cam is also a waste of money unless you have F.I. After you spend $175 for the cam, you will spend another $150-$200 on tuning that will gain you maybe 4-8hp if you're lucky. If your not lucky and it's not tuned properly, BOOM, there goes your motor....
These types of mods should be done last to polish off the motor. I'm not sure what mods you already have but your air intake, headers, exhaust and TC are things that should be done first... Good luck

Cam gears????Why again? They are stock cams..... Cam gears would only be worth while if you were doing some moderate or aggresive cam swaps. It's possible cam gears might be useful when using FI due to possible reversion.
