Default CEL came on after Torque Master plugs install

Guys, I need help. I recently installed a set of Torque Master from Steve into my 99 GS3. I reseted the computer a couple of times, and still it pops up with a code. I took it to my local auto parts store and they read : Bank 1 running lean. I have no clue except for the O2 sensors bad, but all I did was changed the plugs. I checked all the plugs, and bolts.

Doubt it was the TM plugs. Lot of us have installed them and no problems like what you are mentioning.

What is your short and long fuel trim look like? Check for a vaccum leak. If you have access to a scan tool that will be great. We can walk you to it.

The short fuel trim should be around -3 to 4 % and long fuel trim is max out at 19%. Anything above that the condition will go very lean and it woulb trigger the light on. Find your vaccum leak and reset your fuel trim by pulling out the EFI fuse. Good luck.
