Does anyone know how to overcome the loss of top speed due to the addition of a 3.73 LSD. The engine shuts down at 5100 RPM in 5th gear, which is only 130 mph since I changed the gear ratio. It would be nice to still have the top speed, not that I would go there often if ever. You never know when you have to kill a BMW 540 and need the extra top end! I hope that someone has developed a chip by now.

 

you could try the HKS sld (speed limit defenser) It appears to work well for those who have tried it. I don't have any persnoal experience with it though.
