Default Is this an LSD?

OK, I know there was a post about this previously regarding BannaGs's diff, but the pics of the real LSD are now just broken links. I just want to make sure I really have the 3.76 LSD and not simply the open 3.76. Mine looks much DIFFerent (ha ha) than Banana's, & it looks like there is a worm gear hidden in there. Here's mine:

Default Yep, it's an LSD!

Yeah, ok that pic sucked. I thought maybe you could tell just by the overall look of the internals. Anyway I was 99% sure it was limited slip, but just wanted to make sure. So I installed it last night and took her for a spin this morning. I REALLY HATE the VSC thing, and I have made it almost a part of starting the engine to immediately disable it every time I get in my car. So on the test drive just now, I could already feel the difference at the first turn, where VSC would usually kick in, the LSD just kinda gripped the road and pushed me through the turn, no VSC swirly light =-). I was still very able to make the VSC kick in, just not so often. Then for the burn out test. I was able to power brake from a stop to force my tires to break loose & they did (this is with VSC manually disabled)…first off the burn out was VERY smooth, no peg legged feeling of one tire bouncing around, just smooth even pushing…looked back to see the proud marks of a “posi” rear end…two matching tracks…NICE!!

Now the thing I’m worried about is that I do not yet have my torque converter installed & I can notice that my car now shifts much closer to 6250 vs. 6000 without the 3.76. Can anyone give me a thought as to what I might be able to expect when I add the TC? Will it cause me to shift just slightly higher and hit the limiter? I hope not.

I have PI TC and Supra diff and still haven't hit the rev limiter.
