I cant really describe it any other way but, heres the scenario. Im driving home from school and this stupid pontiac sunfire with a giant fart cannon keeps revving on me. I really didnt want to waste my time or gas but this guy needed serious owning. We stopped at a red light and we where first in line (luckly i didnt want him doin something stupid like weaving in and out of traffic). So it turns green and i roll to about 20mph before he punches it i do the same thing. Now i did own him but my question is, when i punched it my head like when into the seat but it was almost like my engine was "charging" so to speak. I felt the torque but i was goin anywhere for about 1-2 seconds. After that 1 second i just flew by him. I can also describe it as like a cat tucking in and strengthening its muscles then lunging onto its prey. I hope i described it well enough i dont think its a problem just curious. Thanks
yeah sometimes at part throttle, you'll get that 1-2 second pause, almost like the car is inhaling before it rips off, when you punch it! I noticed that this got better when I got the TorqueMaster spark plugs. Something that really helps that pause is using eshift, you can at least control the points (somewhat)

Speaking of dragons, the Dragon torque converter upgrade for our cars makes them much more responsive. I love mine. Also, if you're doing the slow roll go then keep it in M3 or even M2 with e-shift.
You may have also had vehicle skid control (VSC) turned on. When you're not in the rain/snow/ice and are racing someone from a stop, you'll want to turn that off as it really reduces the power to your wheels. Sometimes when you don't want it to.
