Well, if you can solder, you can fix that yourself with just some new wire. Not sure what gauge typical automotive wiring harness wire is, but splice in some new good wire, remove the bad, and you should be good.
I would not recommend soldering as it makes the wire brittle. A mouse chewed up the Tundra back in January, I spliced in wires using bare crimps and put sealable shrink tube over each once they pass a couple of strong pull tests.
Some data wires are 22 to 24 gauge so they are pretty small. Grab an assortment of butt connectors, stranded wire, and a crimp tool that cover 14 to 24 gauge and you should be set. Notice I had to de-pin a connector as the little mfr ate right up to the connector.
