Recently installed the Tsudo AWD midpipe to my ‘23 IS350. I previously (by a few days) had the Yonaka axleback exhaust installed. With the addition of the midpipe the drone under partial load around the city is far too much for me to handle. I’ve driven around 800kms in hopes it settles down (as I’ve read on here that it will tame). I plan on installing the PPE headers (more like downpipes) over the coming months which will only increase the volume.
I know some members here have added longer Vibrant resonators to replace the small Tsudo resonators in the midpipe. However, has anyone successfully fitted a pair of Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonators in this location? It might be a little too tight and I’d hate to order them and go to a shop to only leave with the same loud IS. The other option I have considered is running a 12-14” bodied pair resonators under the front seats and keeping the Tsudo resonators.
I had the Yonaka 4.5” width resonators welded where the Tsudo ones were, significantly improved and even deeper on wot. Very happy. Once PPE headers are on I’ll probably be back to square one haha
