Default Motor/Trans Mounts

Hey all,

New here and I know this has been covered in threads before but just clarifying for myself.

I'm looking for part numbers/links for TRD motor and trans mounts for '94 sc3 5speed as well as part numbers/links for polyurethane motor and trans mounts.

Also, there is RHS, LHS motor mounts and is there just 1 trans mount?

Thanks in advance!

I installed the Xcessive poly engine mounts on my SC3 and I've grown to love them. They were a little too stiff at first, but softened up nicely after a month or so of driving. Right now I have a new OEM trans mount, however, there is only one and they're available in poly from Xcessive as well I think. As long as you select the right transmission you should be able to get the correct part without any problems.

The TRD engine mounts are on ebay shipping from Japan. They are completely out of stock here in the USA. Disclaimer: To use the TRD JZA80 engine mounts, you need the JZA80 engine mount brackets. You can't reuse your SC pieces.
There is a TRD trans mount for the JZA80 but it only fits the V160/161 trans.

Other companies that make engine/trans mounts for SC/Soarers:

Kazama

Vibra-technics

Xcessive Manufacturing

trans mounts for transmissions https://xcessivemanufacturing.com/to...nsmission.html

Megan
Engine mounts + auto trans mount https://meganracing.com/catalog/prod...s/mrs-lx-0540/
W58 trans mount https://meganracing.com/mrs-ty-1441-ii

**The Xcessive site can be a bit complicated because the first mount they sell is more of a replacement crossmember brace so you reuse your OEM trans mount. They offer urethane mounts for individual transmissions on the Toyota transmission page

Great choice, I don't think you'll regret it!
