Default Speed from ABS Sensor on 92 SC400

So for those of you that have swapped a CD009 or some other non Toyota trans into your SC400, how did you get the speed to work?
i don't really wanna use the GPS solutions for reasons but i've seen posts on IS and GS forums using the ABS speed sensors to get the speedo to work. Has anyone done this on an SC400? i can't seem to find any posts like it.

If ABS sensor isn't an option are there any optical solutions or sensors that could work?
