Unhappy Transmission HELL

I recently bought a very nice very well maintained 92 SC400 with a ton of mods anyway the transmission is acting rather squirrelly so the situation is it was upgraded with an aggressive shift kit that according to the previous owner killed the transmission it has since been rebuilt less than 10,000 miles ago around the shift kit (the seller is a friend, i doubt ive been lied too) it is the automatic trans it came with but ive experienced some interesting behavior that i dont think is right, so to start the fluid looks okay it is a light red and is at the correct level however i experience no difference between first and second gear in the drive position it will accelerate to high rpms quickly however then refuses to shift until i back off the throttle a bit once it shifts i can no longer hit the highest acceleration range if i floor it once it shifts into 3rd (only 1 shift) it revs to high rpm and no longer accelerates until i back off the throttle a bit if overdrive is on it will shift into overdrive but still does not respond to WOT i was wondering if anyone may have any suggestions before i change out shift solonoids when i shift into nuetral which i do at many stop lights (i love revving the engine, my exhaust is amazing) i noticed it tries creeping as if its slipping into drive. so to summarize fluid looks good, no first or second not sure which, WOT only works in the gear under D that works, and in neutral it creeps periodically. PLEASE HELP oh and no CEL and yes it does work
thank you in advance
