Default Used pressure plate

Wondering if this pressure plate is any good or if its trash due to the wear on the friction surface. Its an ACT heavy duty pressure plate. Would you reuse or throw away?

thanks

Throw a new one in. After all the work to replace it's cheap insurance to know you have a good part in there that's going to last you.

Yeah i have an oppurtunity to get a action stage 3 clutch for cheap but wasn't sure if this pressure plate was worth using or not. Im planning on being around 500whp so it will see some power and didn't want to have to take it apart again anytime soon if it doesn't last.

Good call. If it was a beater/track day special I'd say throw it in and hope for the best (SC3 clutches can be done in ~3 hours alone with a lift). But it sounds like you want it to hold up for a while and it'll be worth every penny to throw something new and nice in.

Yeah for sure. Thanks for the advice, I haven't cheaped out on one part yet for my build I don't plan on doing it now haha.
