Hope this helps, but basically it is down low on the left side front of the block just behind the oil pump. They changed the connector sometime between some early 92 models and 93 models. My 92 has a male spade plug on sender, my 93 has a round connector.

^^ OP, the oil pressure "switch" (a screw in sensor) is on the engine block driver's side very close to the front knock sensor. I recently had the same issue getting the wrong part from a dealer.

The correct part number for the 2JZ "oil pressure switch" is 83530-14060 (which supersedes to 83530-0E010). It screws in with a tapered thread. I used a little permatex thread sealer/insulator on mine. You need a deep socket to install it (I don't recall the exact size, sorry). It only requires 11 ft-lbs of torque as per the TSRM.

That may be the part number for your year model, but for a 92 it is 83530-60040. It looks like this:

That's why I told the OP that a change was made and that if his harness has a simple spade connection, this is the one he needs. Not sure exactly when the change was made, so thought I would put this out as an option just in case.

I think I might have the older spade style connection
although I'm not sure if I had the right sensor disconnected I heard that the sensor is behind the ac compressor there are several sensors on that side of the engine that all look pretty close

It is the lowest one, to the left of the oil filter housing. All the others are above that.

^^ I stand corrected. Thank you for pointing that out RXRodger So there were at least two types used on the SC series, one with a spade and one with a single wire plug. Apologies, OP.

Well, if I still had an alldata subscription I could tell you, but other than that I can look at my 96 and possibly they are the same as a 95. Most likely they are. I will look tomorrow.
