Default 1uz sc400 1994 Gasket kit, what you do now?

Hello, guys.
I was looking for oem engine overhaul gasket kit as my engine badly leaking oil from all over places.
about 100ml oil leaking through the night while parking. Weekly putting about 1L oil while trying to figure out, finally i decided to go for overhaul and found oem overgaul gasket kit.
unfortunately after multiple inquiries with various oem vendors in us, au, jp, i realized that this kit is not produced by toyota anymore.
My question, is what are you doing now? Which gaskets do you suggest ?
i will be very happy for any relevant information on subject.
Thank You in advance.

Not sure what you mean by overhaul gaskets but generally speaking ive purchased all my replacement gaskets from Felpro, they make a good product for a decent price

Thank you, anyways valves covers gaskets on their way and is oem.
perhaps will go felpro for the rest, except of head gaskets, which will be cometic.
Is it worth going cometic not fi ?

Is there a difference between the 94 gasket kits and the say 00 1UZ gasket kit?
I just started working at a Toyota dealership as a Parts Advisor, I can take a look at them on Monday for ya if you like

(sadly we do no get access to Lexus unique parts, so parts like brake pads and stuff are off limits to me)

i would think they would be different. The earlier version of the engine had distributors so im guessing the block design was slightly different where the distributors attached to the block.

Hey, Thank You.
Yes, they are different. 00 is vvti and so on, the old is non vvti, distributors and various other stuff.

Hey Leaderpvp,

After some digging here's what I've came away with...
The gasket kit ranges from
04111-50040
04111-50041 Obsolete
04111-50043
04111-50044
04111-50045 MFG Discontinued

They are all Lexus unique parts which I can't get without pulling some string at Toyota.
04111-50040 is your best bet, but there aren't any in North America (US/Canada). It is not impossible to get, might take a few month to get one shipped in from Japan it seems.

Hope this helps

You need a non vvti engine gasket set, or you can buy them all separately online.
if you need to rebuild your whole engine you'll need it all they are not cheap but you'll get a good quality if you get toyota oem stuff

The OEM kit ain't cheap.
Even for me I'm looking at $600+CAD to get it :/ (if I could somehow manage to get one) and retails for ~$800CAD

Hey, Thank You!!! Will continue checking these!
and yeah, cost is not an issue, until you get this oem quality that holds 10+ years without any problem.
