Default '97 Bumper Conversion

so someone backed into me in my school parking lot and damaged my front bumper. I decided that I wanted to go ahead and get a '97 bumper to replace it since I like the look of the later models. I've already done research and it seems that everything should fit except you may have to trim some impact foam. However, I wanted to know if the wiring for the lights will be the same. I know the lower lights are different from my 1995 model's, and the shop I took it to said they would prefer to to not have to do wiring if possible, so I wanted to confirm whether or not putting the 97 bumper would be a relatively straightforward process.

May have different bulb wiring pigtails for fog lights, but other than that I think it's a bolt on affair

Converting from the "cornering lights" to the fog lights does require a different wiring arrangement; my shop did mine but there may be a thread in the FAQ section.

The real "shocker" is the cost of OEM '97 fog lights...... If you can find any....

The body shop I went to wired them up for me even though I forgot to bring my OEM foglight connectors. They didn't mention anything about it being to difficult and had my 97 kit put on with fresh paint a few days earlier than it was supposed to be ready.

The 95 is the first year with dedicated fog lights with the same connectors as the 97+. I will be a direct plug in affair.
