Crankshaft pully puller thread
My vehicle is a '93 SC-400.
Pulling the main crankshaft pulley as one of the many steps for timing belt replacement. I don't have the Toyota/Lexus SST, but I do have a generic puller that will certainly work if I have the correct bolts that thread into the crankshaft pulley. I hat to admit it, but I can't figure out what thread/pitch is in the original pulley. Since it is pretty rusty (even after soaking with PB Blaster) I don't want to cross thread anything. It "appears" like it should be an 8mm thread, but neither a 1.00 or a 1.25 pitch bolt goes in without quickly feeling like it is cross threaded. Can anybody tell me what thread is used in the actual SST?

I found my own answer but thought I'd leave it on forum in case it eventually helps somebody else.
The two threaded "puller" holes in the crankshaft pulley are M8 x 1.25 thread.
When I eventually got my pulley removed from the crank, I ran a metric tap thru holes to chase-out the rust in threads just in case I ever have to remove it again (which I hope is never).
Hope this helps somebody else . . . . sometime.
