Default Driver side door prob. but not Actuator or is it?

I had to pull the panel off on my 92. In order to open the door I must pull the wire myself for it to open from the inside. What is the problem and what do I need to do? Thanks.

So, the outside handle isn't working? That's usually a matter of the plastic clip that connects it to the actuator rod breaking.

Don't lower your window while it's like that or you'll compound things with a bent rod...

it doesnt open from the outside. I have to extend my hand to the end of the wire from the inside and pull it to get the door open.
