Default Tps screw

So I'm probably just dumb but how do you guys get to the second screw with the valve thing in the way. Trying to fix this low idle of mine. Many Thanks.

90 degree screwdriver, and hope it isn't rusted in place or you'll struggle to get enough direct pressure on it.

Once you have it out, go to the hardware store and get one or two allen head bolts to replace them. They'll be much less prone to stripping than the soft metal originals, and you'll easily be able to get to the lower one in the future.

Not that I'm aware of. Mine certainly stayed where I set it. What would be the point of having specific guidelines in the FSM for setting it if the settings didn't have any lasting effect?

I believe the factory TPS screws are P/N 90079-11021 but I have not confirmed this recently at a dealer.

I use a long Craftsman phillips P2, with an overall length of 7 1/2'' screwdriver and angle it in and push hard while tuning. I have had to use a Mac hand impact driver on the bottom one and it will turn right out.
