$ wheel bearing lesson learned
I have a SC400 that I discovered needed rear wheel bearings at 72K.
I got good advise to not go with cheaper bearings.
Instead of a pair for 46 bucks delivered I bought Timken for 140 a pair delivered.
Opened boxes and found out they were marked NSK 43BWD03 which is actually part number W0133-1624149
Called Timken was told they source them from NSK and they were up to Timken specs.
I could have bought a pair of the same NSK without the Timken boxes for 108 delivered.
$32 dollar lesson learned.
Other things I learned:
NSK is the OEM supplier.
These bearing fit a large variety or Lexus:
Vehicle Applications NSK W0133-1624149
Lexus
GS300: 1993 - 1997
LS400: 1990 - 2000
SC300: 1992 - 2000
SC400: 1992 - 2000
Toyota
Cressida: 1989 - 1992
Supra: 1986 - 1998
