Grinding and screeching sound from front driver side wheel.
So I made a rookie mistake while changing my tire, and forgot to support the rear tires with bricks or blocks.
so with that out the way. After I removed the front driver side wheel, the jack slipped and bam... Rotor slammed into the ground. Luckily my foot was out of the way, but my poor SC. Felt like I dropped a baby or something.
Sooooo anywhoo... after getting the car back on the jack and correctly supporting the rear tires, I notice a couple scratches in the rotor. Didn't think too much on it, just wishfully thinking nothing was majorly wrong. I got the car on all four wheels and drove it around the block. I noticed a loud grinding noise at first, but after awhile it kinda dulled down. I still notice it though. A couple days past and now there's a sharp screeching sound when the car moves in reverse. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? I already figured I need to replace the rotor, but if there's anything else that may be broken I want to take care of it all at once.

I finally got a chance to look under my car yesterday. I noticed the heat shield was bent inward and was touching the rotor. I will attempt to bend it back, hopefully that will correct the problem. If not I'll look into getting wheel bearing checked.
