are all transmission mounts created equal?
Has anyone ever asked/answered the question as to whether these cars were like that when new? I'm guessing they weren't, but it could be something inherent in the design.BTW, here's the Sewell link for the diff-subframe mounts:

I ended up ordering the transmission mount from Sewell. It's a bit startling the first time you see one in person. From the pics, I was expecting something close to a loaf of bread in size. The actual thing fits in the palm of your hand.
I should have installed it the day it arrived ... now it's raining for the foreseeable future and won't be nearly as much fun to work under the car.
