Code 14 fixes? i need help!
So after battling my sc4 for about a month and a half now trying to fix the missfire and dying problem, been told several different things to be wrong with it, ive replaced both ignitors, cap, rotors, wires, plugs, coil packs, ignition circuit control relay, fuel filter and fuel pump and did the 12v fuel mod, and nothings worked trying to chase the codes it threw, 14 24 and 41 which are the ignition missfire, air intake sensor and throttle pos. sensor. the air intake sensor and the throttle pos arent no-start DTC's and i will fix them after i can get my sc running for more than 10 minutes. LOL.. am i going to actually have to replace my ecu or have it rebuilt and by who? whats the most effective way too check the loom under the dash or in the bay?

Welcome to Cl, your post has been moved to the maintenance section. please try and post in the proper sub-forum next time.
sounds like an ecu issue or even a maf sensor issue as the air intake sensor is part of the MAF.
it could also be a bad tps sensor or something to do with the 5v power that feeds all of those things which would indicate the ecu as that controls that curcuit also.
sometimes the rebuilds are not that effective. if you can find one from a running car that is similar year then try that. 92-94 sc400's are similar ecu wise, and 95-96 are similar ecu wise. you cannot use the one from the other year range it will not run right.
