Talking AC Pro kit works! Definitely worth $$ IMO

Yesterday I read thru a bunch of the ac threads and did the code check on my 98 sc4. I had codes 21 & 43 (ambient sensor & servomotor). It was a little after dusk, so I didn't pay attention to the 21. The 43 seems to be a common confuser because I didn't/don't have any flow direction/control issues. That was a frequent comment in the ac threads that I read. I've had the car for almost a year now riding with no AC because I just assumed it was something more than needing refrigerant. I never even verified the compressor, clutch, etc.... Anything until yesterday. Anyway.... Because of this awesome forum and the experience of others I said screw it and bought the AC Pro kit. I just followed the directions and boom.... I had cold air! I bought the 20oz ($40) can that comes with the hose & gauge (hence..."kit") I actually got two to ensure I filled to system capacity (33oz). Barely had to get into the second can. Drove around full blast for ~30 min and verified no pressure drop...
Checked codes again today midday and it was good to see the 21 went away, but the 43 remained??? Same as before ... No flow/direction control issues. "Auto" functions properly. All vents work great.
Prob a boring read to most of y'all, but maybe it'll help a newbie like myself somewhere who's toiling over DIYing it or paying WAY too much labor for it. 15 minutes and the windows are staying up for a while!! Now maybe I'll get 'em tinted!
