Default 95 sc300 not starting

I'm having problems getting a car running that I recently bought. I purchased it not running so I knew there would be problems. But the previous owner said he drove it home one evening and was running fine then the next morning got in it and it wouldn't start. It's not getting spark and injectors are not pulsing. Things that I've done so far:
-check engine light is on so I read the code, it's throwing a code 12
- I've tried a new igniter
- I've tried a new distributor
- I had my ecu replaced with a rebuilt unit
- I've ohm'ed all the wires from the ignition components to the ecu and all are getting good connection.
I have ran out of ideas. The only two ideas I have left through research is possible bad ground from the transmission to the frame which I'm not sure where this is located(I can't find a pic anywhere) or maybe a bad ignition switch. It turns over fine but not starting. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should try next? Thanks in advance

code 12 is rpm signal which I understand is distributor sourced exclusively on pre 96 cars. possibly bad replacement unit? did you get new sensors or have to transfer yours over?

The distributor was a brand new replacement unit. The whole deal cap and all. And the timing belt is in tact and turning the distributor.

Try relays. Easy things first.

All fuses look good that are in the ignition system and the efi relay seems to be good. I haven't tried a new one but switching it with the other one in the fuse box doesn't make a difference

Ok guys a little bit of an update, still not starting but I did a little but more testing on the electrical system today. On the 80 pin connecter I have 3 grounds that are testing good and on the same connecter I have 6 wires which are the injector wires that all test with a positive or hot connection with the key on. And on the 40 pin connecter I identified 3 wires through a wiring diagram that seem to give power to the ecu, all them are testing hot with the key on. And the fuse panel under the dash the ignition relay is getting power with the key on. Once again the car isn't running, it will turn over but just doesn't have any spark or the injectors are not pulsing. Anybody have anything else I can try? I also replaced the efi relay with a new one just to make sure it was good.

Have you put a timing light on it while cranking? Have you confirmed it hasn't jumped timing?

Injectors should have power at the ecu, everything you have discovered sounds kosher. Check all clips for all ignition related components.
