Default Exhaust fitment question

Hey everyone. I did a search but couldn't find a definite answer. But after the y pipe, are 300/400 exhaust the same? Reason I ask is that someone is selling an exhaust off his 400, but it starts after the y pipe. I just want to know if it will fit on my 300.

on the 400 the front section comes from two exhaust manifolds out both sides of engine. and join up.
on the 300 the front section comes from two exhaust manifolds out one side the engine. and join up.
rear section is same.

on i6 engine 300 you have intake manifold on one side and exhaust manifold on other side.
on v8 engine 400 you have 2 exhaust manifolds on both sides. intake manifold is on top.

don't get ripped off on no-brand-obx-megan-style-3A-racing-axlebacks. i've seen perople try and sell them for more than what they are new shipped from ebay.
try too see if they are a brand like greddy,tanabe..ect

Thanks for the replies. Here's a pic of the exhaust to clear things up.

SC300 appears to have a longer mid pipe than SC400. So by trying to install an exhaust from a SC400 onto a SC300, you may have to lengthen the single pipe a little bit to bolt the rear section to the SC300 mid pipe.
