1999 SC300 transmission swap help
Hello, I have a 1999 sc300 and I am looking to do a 5speed swap with the w58 transmission.
I found a kit that includes the whole pedal set with clutch master cylinder
http://store.driftmotion.com/static/...00pedalset.php
I couldn't find the swap for the transmission cross member or does the stock automatic cross member need to be modified
any other tips or info would be appreciated
Thanks

Hey guys i am looking to do the same swap but with the R154 instead, the question i have is:
When you go 5 speed in the 1999 & 2000 sc300 it the going to show a CEL on the dash and do you need to change the computer ?
or is it just swap it to a 5 speed and everything will be functioning normal except for the P,R,N etc in the middle of the cluster ?

Theyre not that simple of a swap, especially dealing with the CEL's. Do some searching on the forum and you'll find a few people who've managed to do it - cartmill being one.

Get a 98 Supra ecu, or IS300 ecu .
Cheaper way will be to get the solenoids out your auto trans and plug them into your harness to make your stock ecu happy.
Search on here it has been covered!
