Default enigne error code p1381

Hey, i was looking around on the forums but i could not find any info on this error code or even just looking around online for Lexus specifically. autozone wouldnt check my CEl light since my sc is a 94 so i went to a O reillys and they gave me the code p1381 camshaft position timing over advanced (bank 1) on their OBD reader but also it showed ford on his screen and they ignored to tell me that idk why. if any one has any input on this let me know.

how many miles? sometimes cam codes are cause of excessive timing belt stretch...if you have never done it or hasn't been done in a long time i would advise you to do so..

i bought it 3/26/13 and it has been 1 owner the whole time and all the work was done at a dealership so i need to do that. hopefully that's the problem.

Why don't you pull the code yourself to make sure?
