Default help no acceleration....

So as the title says I need help. On my way to work today my car was driving great. I was just admiring how the new megan lp's were settling in. When on the exit ramp my car lost power in the accelerator. It would catch and rev/provide instant power wh3n the gas peddle was being let up. So as I pushed down nothing happened but when I was letting the accelerator up it would rev a bit and shoot forward. I was able to get it into a parking spot and make it to work but now what...??? Im afraid by not relocating the wiring harness soon enough that I burned something...(only been a week)...sooo...help...

Why do so many people do the slammed look and not relocate the harness first????? I am on Esplier springs and this is the first thing I done. I am not even slammed.

Check that harness and see if any wires have been frayed or cut or pulled out.

Its not slammed and ive driven it twice...its just me going to the worst case scenario...I drove it fine home. Im assuming fuel filter, maf, or something small and stupid. It pulled a code so ill let everyone know what I find. Ive owned enough of these to know what do, it was just a moment of frusteration when I posted. Otherwise I wouldnt have posted, as you can see generally I only posted wtb or wts threads for over 10 years here.

Post up the code when you can. We will help assist you in finding the corporate. Good luck and keep us posted. I hope it is something simple.

Thanks guys for listening to my quick rant. I just had a moment of frustration. It was only a tps sensor, I got it replaced and all is well. I also got a fire lit under my *** and installed my ls400 brake upgrade as well. Thanks again guys. I guess I need to become more involved in the web community...185 posts in 11 years....lol
