Yes it will, might have to change the yoke, not 100%. Or find an auto TT MKIV one.

what transmission do you have ? if you have the TT auto tranny , then as 1jzpwrd had said , get the TT auto pumpkin that has the torsen lsd . If you are on a 6 speed v160 , get the 98 and above gs400 pumpkin/diff or early SC430 which normally has an open diff but with 3.26 gears which suits your V160 and just get a TRD diff and you have a very strong diff. The usdm 3.13 diff are pricey and harder to find.. They normally sell above $1500

98-02 gs400 and early SC430 pumpkin / diff are normally open diff (not lsd) but will bolt up. If you have an auto tranny , they won't be the right gearing for you cause they have 3.26 gears. You need the 3.76 gears pumpkins that normally come from the Supra TT auto diff. You are right , Supra TT diff wether auto or 6 speed are harder to find and expensive ... because of the demand.

I bought a 1994 Supra TT Auto LSD 3.769 pumpkin for my car. It was unbelievably hard to find one for sale before someone would have already snatched it up. I kept looking, finally got lucky and just had to be ready cash in hand. They go like hotcakes. I bastardized mine with 4.272 gears though. Still have the 3.769 ring and pinion in a box. You can always take your diff and whatever other gears you want to a rebuilder and get exactly the ratio you want but it does get pricey and you should replace the seals and bearings at the same time if the LSD diff has never seen more than oil changes.

There isn't another Torsen LSD option other than taking one from a Supra as mentioned above. That is, unless you can find a Soarer LSD rear which is as rare as a unicorn.

Finding LSD's are pretty tough... not to mention that if you have the LSD diff in front of you there is no real way of knowing if it's truly an LSD without opening it up. Some shop tried to sell me an open diff as an LSD and I had him open it. The second one the shop opened up was a Torsen from a 93 N/A JDM Supra.

^^ Yep. It's the only way to know. Torsen T-1's act like open diffs until they are operating under actual road conditions (but they also act like open diffs if one wheel leaves the ground while driving-- a T-1 quirk that was later corrected with the Torsen T-2 and the T-3R designs in newer cars). The seller I bought from took off the rear diff cover to show me it actually had a Torsen. Rule of thumb is that any 93.5-96 TT Auto pumpkin SHOULD have had a standard LSD. 97-98 TT Auto's were the ones that came open diff standard with the *option* of an LSD. I cannot say if it was the same for JDM cars.

Conversely, 93.5-96 Supra NA's were all 4.272 open diff with the very rare Torsen LSD option but 97-98 Supra NA's should have come with 4.083 and (as far as I know) standard Torsen LSDs.

6-speed cars always had LSD's but that doesn't really matter in this case.

Thank you all for the great info in the LSD. I finally got it all back together, including the parking brake and new sway bar links. I ended up using another strut rod since I had a busted boot. Its all good now, no more swaying. Just need to get the needles back from Lextech... ready for Import Alliance!!!!
