3rd I am very confused about the water pump deal on the 1JZ, so can someone be nice and give me the part number for the part pump i'll need with this motor. Atleast i wont sound totally stupid when i call toyota up.

I can knock one question down for you.

You can use the auto ecu with a manual trans no problem, but its going to throw and CEL cause the ecu will be looking for the auto trans that isnt present.

As for the engine, IIRC the Soarer is a front sump oil pan, not rear. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

And again correct me if Im wrong, you want the water pump from a 2JZ-GTE.

Soarer is not front sump, I am 2 million percent sure about that. I know its a 2jz gte water pump too, but it would be nice to have a part number so i am 100% sure i have the correct thing

So then all you needed from this thread was the part number for the water pump...? And yes, I was backwards, Soarer is rear/mid sump.

Did you try searching for the part number for the water pump?

Two options.
Its a Supra 1jz or a Soarer 1jz.

Count the number of rows of ECU pins. 2 rows? Supra. 4 rows? Soarer.

This APPEARS to be a Soarer 1jz. The rear sump pan, and the angle of the twin turbo outlet both are consistent with Soarer.

I want someone to cofirm that its a soarer 1jz i think its from a soarer, but just wanting second thoughts . Thanks for the part number! I tried searching i got most of the things i wanted. Ordered most of the things for the swap too, just water pump and motor & throttle cable is all i'm waiting for. Once i learn that this is a soarer 1JZ i will go ahead and buy it and start the swap.

The orange plug and the fan makes me think its a soarer 1JZ. Im still wanting a 100% Confirmation for this though.

Its a Soarer swap based on the pics the water pump has no hydraulic fan!

OK, that is 100% out of a soarer. The harness is a Soarer harness. You can tell be cause it has the exact same body plugs as an SC. Also, Soarers, unlike Chasers, have all 4 ECU plugs on the harness itself.

False. You will not have a CEL. You will not get a CEL from running a manual harness/transmission on an auto ECU with OBD-I. You only get it with OBD-II and since there is no such thing as OBD-II in Japan, you're golden.

Soarer is Definitely a rear sump pan. All TWO door Toyotas/Lexus are rear sump. All FOUR door Toyota/Lexus are front sump.

You need a USDM 2JZGTE water pump. It bolts right on. You'll need to get a GTE pulley for it as well.

Its an o2 sensor don't worry there a dime a dozen its also the same as 2jzgte.

And just to make you warm and fuzzy I ran a Soarer auto ecu on my 1jz 5spd in my MK3 for yrs at 600+ hp on a piggy back with no issues.

USDM 2JZGTE O2 sensor is a 4 wire. JDM 2JZGTE and 1JZGTE are a 3 wire O2. When you have your harness conversion done, you'll either A - have the harness wired for a USDM style O2 sensor, or B - get the 3-pin male plug for the JDM sensor.
